Cheryl Turner Mixed Media Artist
Welcome to Reimagined art and design
Hi, I’m Cheryl Turner, an abstract mixed media artist who loves turning the everyday into something vibrant and meaningful.
I work primarily with alcohol inks, a medium that draws me in with its bold colours and organic, fluid movement. My art is inspired by nature—think expressive landscapes, big skies, and floral forms—all created with spontaneity and emotion.
What began as repurposing old tiles and cupboards has grown into a full-time creative journey. I’m a self-taught artist, and each piece is an adventure in colour, texture, and possibility.
You’ll find print-on-demand pieces like note cards, tote bags, pillow covers, and wall art in my online shop
Can’t find what you’re looking for? Just reach out—I’m always happy to chat.
I also occasionally offer introductory workshops for those curious about working with alcohol inks. These hands-on sessions are a fun way to explore the medium and spark your own creativity.
I’m proud to be a member of two inspiring local artist communities:
🎨 North Grenville Arts Guild (NGAG) – a welcoming group of artists who meet regularly to support and encourage creativity in the North Grenville area
🎨 Merrickville Arts Guild (MAG) – a vibrant collective that promotes and showcases artists in and around Merrickville
You can also find my work on display at the North Grenville Municipal Centre in Kemptville, where a rotating art exhibit and sale features work by local artists. My piece will be on view there until September 2025.
Thanks so much for visiting!
